We do consider our candles to be more of a decor piece rather than a traditional candle. For peak performance, we recommend burning our candles within a year, as we do not use any preservatives. 

Our candles are meant to be decor pieces. However, in the event of burning our candles, we recommend the following safety measures:

1. Always trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting the candle to prevent excessive flame and soot buildup.
2. Burn the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets. It is recommended to burn the candle on a dish to keep surfaces clean of wax pools.
3. Avoid burning candles for more than 2 hours at a time. 
4. Keep the wax pool free of debris such as matches or wick trimmings to prevent flare-ups. 
5. Do not move a burning candle, as it may be very hot. Allow it to cool before handling.
6. Discontinue use when there is around 1 inch of wax remaining to prevent the dish and surface from overheating. 

Yes, our candles are eco-friendly as we use an all-natural soy wax that is vegan. Soy wax is a renewable resource, biodegradable, and burns cleanly, producing less soot and toxins compared to traditional paraffin wax candles. This makes our candles a more sustainable and environmentally friendly choice. 

Here are some tips:

1. Storage: Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or softening of the wax. 
2. Refrain from Moving: Avoid moving a burning candle, as this can disturb the wax pool and lead to an uneven burn. Allow the candle to cool and solidify before moving. 
3. Trim the wick: Before lighting your candle each time, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch to prevent the flame from becoming too large and causing soot.

As of now, our candles are not available in local stores. However, we are continually exploring opportunities, to expand our distribution channels, and we may consider partnerships with local retailers in the future. In the meantime, our candles are available for purchase through our online store, providing convenient access for customers to enjoy our products.
